Lucky Clays Farm at the US Open

The US Open is an annual NSCA shoot that rotates location from year to year to allow shooters regionally an opportunity to participate. Claythorne Lodge hosted the US Open this year, in Columbus, Kansas from June 1st- 8th. The shoot is open to competitors at all levels. Participants compete against shooters in their same class. 3rd Annual CPCC Shoot

Farm harnesses solar and wind energy

Argand Energy of Charlotte is close to completing work on the installation of North Carolina’s largest residential, solar and wind energy system at Lucky Clays Farm in rural Stanly County. The system will offset approximately 22 tons of CO2 annually and was officially dedicated at a ceremony Wednesday. (more…)

Wildlife Permit Granted for Raising Tilapia at Lucky Clays Farm

NORWOOD, NC – Lucky Clays Farm, is excited to announce a new grant permitting them to raise Tilapia. Tilapia is a non-native fish to North Carolina so permits must be obtained by the State to ensure the fish are not accidently exposed to the surrounding natural water supply. (more…)
