Lucky Clays Farm Hosts James River Equipment for their Game-Changing Launch Event with John Deere

Norwood, N.C., June 12, 2015 – Lucky Clays Farm was proud to be the chosen site for the James River Equipment Game-Changing Launch Event with John Deere’s Forestry Division. James River Equipment, a full-service equipment and tractor dealership headquartered in Ashland, Virginia, is dedicated to the needs of their Agriculture, Construction, Forestry, Commercial and Residential customers in Virginia, and the Carolinas. Executives from James River Equipment and John Deere were in attendance to answer questions and provide presentations on the new machinery.

The Launch Event held on Thursday, June 11, 2015, offered customers a comprehensive look at the new forestry machines from John Deere through a mix of machine walk-arounds, cab unit displays, informational classes and even product demonstrations. Machines on-site included the PTD-496 Thinning Pro, 648L Grapple Skidder, 848L Grapple Skidder, 643L Wheeled Feller Buncher, 843L Wheeled Feller Buncher, and 948L Grapple Skidder.

“We were thrilled to have James River Equipment at the Farm for their forestry roll-out event,” said Farm Manager, Jean-Paul Abel. “Not only did we get an up close look at the all-new L-Series Cutters and Skidders, but we were also able to discuss the new equipment with representatives from James River Equipment and John Deere.
